Το 2001 μεταδόθηκε σε τρία μέρη ένα καταπληκτικό ντοκιμαντέρ που παρουσιάζει τη γέννηση της μουσικής που άλλαξε το μουσικό χάρτη από τη βάση του. Φυσικά παρθενογένεσις δεν υπάρχουν. Από τις   επιρροές που αποτέλεσαν το στήριγμα της house μουσικής μέχρι και τη δεκαετία  του '90 ξετυλίγεται ένα μουσικό κουβάρι με σαγηνευτικό τρόπο. Σχεδόν όλοι οι εμπλεκόμενοι περνάνε από την οθόνη ή αναφέρονται. Από τα υπόγεια του Σικάγο έως τις πίστες με χιλιάδες ανθρώπους να χορεύουν, αυτή είναι μια υπέροχη ιστορία.
