Songs in the key of life documentary classic albums

To 1997 βγήκε στον αέρα στην τηλεοπτική σειρά classic albums το αφιέρωμα για το Songs in the Key of life του Stevie Wonder. Η σειρά παιζόταν σε αρκετά κανάλια,  BBC, ITV, Sky Arts, VH1 και VH1 Classic. Είχα ανεβάσει πριν από λίγο καιρό, στα Favourite black albums of all times το καταπληκτικό διπλό τότε άλμπουμ του και πιστεύω ότι αυτό το ντοκιμαντέρ είναι το απαραίτητο συμπλήρωμά του, παραγωγής 2001.

Τις ρίζες της τεχνικής του mashup μπορεί κάποιος να τη βρει από τη δεκαετία του 50. Τα τελευταία 20 χρόνια όμως θεωρείται και είναι μια τεχνική djs που έχει γίνει αρκετά δημοφιλής και προσωπικά τη θεωρώ απίστευτα δημιουργική, όταν το τελικό αποτέλεσμα δένει και μουσικά.
